I haven't been active here, artistically for a long time now. Primarily because I haven't done much art of any kind in a very long time. I've sketched things here and there, but I've been hugely preoccupied with my music for quite a while. With life, a day job, and everything else, it's hard to delegate time to both passions, so music has kind of won out from 2015 to the present. However; a lot of things have changed in my life since I went inactive. I've made a lot of mistakes, got involved in a lot of shit that I shouldn't have. I'll keep it short by saying that 2016 was by and large the worst year of my life. All of this being said, I'm hellbent on turning things around and thus far, I think I've made a good effort in doing that. So, self indulgent explanations aside, I'm gonna try and get back into this. I'm going to try and balance art and music and everything else, because I do miss it and life is too short for me not to give it my best shot. I've thrown all previous deviations in storage and intend to start anew. Thanks for reading.

Yamcha trained briskly, punching and kicking the air as fast as he could. He had to be at his best if he was going to set out again. The sky was deep blue, the ocean was cleaner than ever, the most clear transparent blue. It was a phenomenal day for an adventure, or so Yamcha thought at least.

"Roshi, I'm heading out on an adventure. I'll be back in a day or two. Easy Breezy. If I don't come back in a week, then I'm probably dead. See ya master!!!" shouted Yamcha, as he spun his vibrant red power pole and put it on his back.

Roshi stood behind Yamcha at the foot of his pink house, and replied, "Goodbye my boy, I wish you luck on your journey. Return soon, your training is never finished!!!"

Yamcha chuckled, and took off, he sailed through the vast, never ending sky, over the ocean and it's many islands, looking for a new land to explore. He had ventured through the desert, he had seen almost everything the islands had to offer, the only place left was the lush mainland, beyond the tropics, in places where it snowed and rained. He hadn't ventured through those just yet, perhaps it was time to. Yamcha saw a city and immediately landed just outside of it. There lain a sign displaying, "WELCOME TO WEST CITY, HOME OF THE CAPSULE CORPORATION!!!". The capsule corporation, Yamcha had heard of it but never seen it. This was interesting to him. Where better to adventure than the concrete jungle? Yamcha entered the city, as he walked the streets he began to notice how modern everything was, it was very futuristic, he guessed that maybe he had been out in the wild too long. He then saw something strange, an enormous explosion vibrated the ground around him, sending out shockwaves comparable to that of a large earthquake. Yamcha was alarmed and ran to the scene, he sensed a strange presence though, he couldn't quite put his finger on it, it was of alien origin but he couldn't distinguish whether or not it was a sentient organism. Regardless of the unknown thing that may await him, he dashed as quickly as he could to the place of the incident. Once he got to the scene, he realized he was far too late, the collateral damage was beyond anything Yamcha had seen before, houses, buildings, even some sky-scrapers up in flames and a crater big enough for a meteor, yet, there was nothing there, whatever this thing was, it was strong. Yamcha was determined to find who or what did this.

Yamcha looked around, looking for anyone. A pale, wrinkled blonde woman stood to the side, silently sobbing, most likely from surprise. Yamcha thought maybe she would know, he quickly ran over and asked, "Excuse me mam, do you know what happened here???"

"Oh lord. It was the scariest thing, a giant shiny black box of some kind dropped straight from the sky, and it was as if the gosh darn thing exploded the second it hit the ground, leaving this crater and now it's gone! If only that Kamen Rider fellow was on Earth instead of planet Talon, he could solve this mystery!!!" said the woman, as he took out her handkerchief and blew her nose.

"Right, right, Thanks again." replied Yamcha with a rather nervous and concerned tone in his voice.

This was new, who was this Kamen Rider on Talon? Yamcha had plans to go to Talon and help out the cause of the super warriors, and eventually find his cousin, Kurama. Yamcha wanted to know more about this new entity, however, he had bigger fish to fry with this mysterious item falling from the sky and suddenly disappearing, it was all too strange. He quickly took off North-bound through the city, he was going to need expert opinion, the opinion of a scientist, the only place he knew where to find a scientist was the famous Capsule Corporation .

Yamcha had run two miles down a straight street, following signs leading to the Capsule Corporation, after a while he came to a T.V shop, in the glimmering, sparkling clean window of said shop, a large flat-screen T.V hung up, it was on a news loop, playing different clips in order, then repeating them after they've all been cycled through. He stopped for a moment and watched the television.

"We have breaking news from planet Avalon." said the reporter from the GNS loop.

"This is Ail Se, reporting on Talons newest 'Super Hero'." She declared. "Calling himself Kamen Rider GO, he was the center of attention within the Avalonian city of Mashra."

Yamcha stared, "Super Hero? Who was this guy? First, the lady near the crash site spoke of him so highly, now he's made galactic Super Hero status?" Thought Yamcha, with more than an intrigued look in his eye.

"I can't say you're not inspiring, Kamen Rider. In fact, from what I've seen and heard about you, I'd like to be more like you. We can't all be super heroes though. I'll be lucky just to make the cut. Maybe one day, I'll encounter the likes of you on Talon. Until then, I watch you from the sidelines of Earth..." said Yamcha to himself, as he finally dashed past the T.V shop.

Up around the bend was the capsule corporation, he hoped that maybe one of the field scientists had managed to gain a piece of evidence from the crash before it was too late. Yamcha ran down the upwards L-shaped path and eventually came to the large, glass, sliding doors, leading Yamcha inside. He walked into a bright blue building with three wings, one to the left, one to the right, and one in front of him, the laboratory wing was the most likely place to find a scientist, at least that's what Yamcha believed. Yamcha walked left, another pair of sliding doors opened, and a scientist ran straight into Yamcha, the scientist fell back from the impact.

"Oh my boy, I'm dearly sorry, my apologies for running into you." He stopped speaking, to gather the scads of papers that he dropped, due to the collision, he then continued on his rant. "I was doing serious research on this strange impact item that crashed in our fine city, I was just feet away when the strange object made impact. The object seemed to disappear, but I believe I have found evidence of what it was, and where it disappeared to!!! This could get me a CC award!!!" said the younger Professor with an upbeat, excited tone.

"That's great, because your just the man I'm looking for! I need your help, can you tell me everything you know about that thing that landed here in West City. I want to find it and destroy it, so it can't do any harm to this city. So, whatcha say?" said Yamcha, as politely and persuasively as he could pull off.

"Well, I suppose I could show you some of my research, as a kind of reparation for running in to you. However, you mustn't share the information with anyone, it could be life and death. Now, come with me to the North wing, it's quiet there." spoke the scientist, as he attempted to whisper, but essentially failed.

"Will do. Lets go." said Yamcha, he was more than delighted to hear the information, he wanted to know what he was up against, so that he could bring justice to West City.

Yamcha followed the scientist, as he crept through the Northern most sliding glass doors, once they exited the building, they walked on a path through a tranquility garden of sorts. Who knew scientists would be so outdoorsy? After walking the lengthy path, they came to another pair of sliding glass doors, they walked right into a darker blue room with three different stair cases and an elevator. They took the stairs. The stairs were old, creaking with every step from the scientist, and Yamcha, if there was anyone around here, they definitely knew Yamcha and the scientist were coming. Finally, they came to a locked door, opened by the scientist and his large set of keys. On the other side of the now open door, was a library of sorts, it was vacant, no one around what so ever.

"Here we are, the capsule library. No one ever hardly comes in here, the only reason anyone ever comes here is to file all the failed and prototype capsules, so we have silence here. Now, where would you like me to begin, I have much information."

Yamcha was a young man of good quality, he had noble intentions, and he was a man of tact too, he had no other desire than to be strong enough to help people, that's why he was doing all this. Perhaps that was why he admired this 'Kamen Rider' so much, he had the power to help people, and he was deemed a super hero by the Galactic News Station, what wasn't to be inspired by? A valiant warrior, coming out of nowhere, being deemed a super hero? Sounded like one of those motivational posters Yamcha saw hanging up in Master Roshi's room.

"Well, let's start with what it was. Was it an alien? What?" said Yamcha, as he sat down at the nearby couch.

The scientist sat down in the chair diagonal from Yamcha and neatly spread out his papers. He then pointed to one with a picture and a fair amount of words on it. "Essentially, trace evidence in the crater shows that the object that crashed here in West City was of Earthly origin, so, if it came from anywhere, it came from the sky, possibly a plane or something. However, it's technological origins seem to be related to planet Donkee or Talonian technology. It seems to be a sentient organism, it has living characteristics, yet it seems to maintain the form of an inanimate object, implying that it's alive, but if you saw it, you'd think it was just an item."

Yamcha nodded, he understood, he then said, "Interesting. Anything else worth mentioning? If I'm going to find this thing, then I must know everything there is to know about it, everything."

The blonde, spiky short haired scientist nodded in agreement, and shuffled through his papers, skimming over them slightly. "Well, one interesting thing I found was that it had a power resonance, like an energy signature of sorts, it carried a specific amount of energy with it. I couldn't determine what energy it was, but it was either electric, ki, spirit, or one of the many branches of those main categories. Something else that could prove useful to know about this thing is that it has symbiotic characteristics. That means, it's very host-oriented, like a parasite, it has a mind of it's own but it needs a body to help control said mind, so if it were to bond with something or someone, such as you, then you would be bonded together as one being."

Yamcha found that interesting, a form of partnership, between a host and another organism. What if the the host completely controlled the thing being hosted? That was commensalism, supposed Yamcha, one organism being benefited, and one being dealt no harm, but no gain either.

"Interesting...so this thing that fell from the sky, Is looking to bond with another organism? I should be careful if I'm going to find this thing." said Yamcha, addressing his now fairly cautious approach.

"Indeed you would. While I'm thinking about it, I never introduced myself. I'm Neo Jameson or Dr. Jameson for short. I don't believe I caught your name either."

"I'm Yamcha, nice to meet you and thank you for the information. You've been a big help, I'm determined to find out just what this thing really is now." replied Yamcha, as he got up to leave.

"It was the least I could do. Before you go, that reminds me of one last thing, a civilian said they saw where the object went after it disappeared from the crash site. The civilian said after the crash it went soaring Northward and landed somewhere off in the distance, data suggest somewhere near District 249, check there first if you're going to search for it. Good luck." said Dr. Jameson, assisting Yamcha.

"Awesome, thanks for the info, you've been great. Maybe we'll meet again soon and if I do find this thing, you'll be the first to know. Believe it. See ya later!!" said Yamcha, assuring the scientist about whether or not he'd receive more information on the object.

Yamcha went over to the sliding glass door that was ten feet or so away, it lead to a balcony. He slid the door open and ran out, he took off from the balcony and flew northward, this was interesting, Yamcha was a detective or at least that's what it seemed like, he was on an investigation, he hadn't been so concentrated on something like this in a long time.

Yamcha flailed through the sky, looking down and analyzing the ground below him, nothing but trees, grass, and farm-like fields. This was getting boring but Yamcha's focus was still as powerful as Shenron, he was going to persevere and find this thing, even if it meant searching around the world. After all, he could probably do it in 80 days. Suddenly he came to a sign, he quickly stopped and descended downward a bit, still above the ground, levitating though.

The sign read, "North District 248."

Yamcha was close, he kept going, though he didn't bother ascending upward, he just took off, flying through the tree's, bushes, and brush. He was doing fine, he had flown for about a mile, when he smacked straight into a massive weeping willow and fell backward, he was stopped dead in his tracks. He got up and rubbed his face, looking around, attempting to regain his bearings, he eventually looked to his right, there lain the sign.

"North District 249". Yamcha was ecstatic and forgot about almost all, or at least the majority of his pain from his tree incident. The object was supposed to be around this area somewhere, Yamcha couldn't wait to find it. It was now about three o' clock in the afternoon, still plenty of daylight left, there was plenty of time for him to search for this strange object.

"I'm finally on this things trail. With any luck, I'll find it within the hour. I have to remember though that this thing is symbiotic and could take me out..." said Yamcha, reminding himself of this thing and its unusual attributes.

Yamcha began walking, searching every visible inch of the ground. Leaves, mushrooms, rocks, pebbles, more leaves, more rocks, tree bark, dandelions, daisies, grass, grass, grass, grass, grass, coin, beer lid, broken glass, more grass, the list went on but there was no sign of any strange item or object. Yamcha was disappointed, he figured it would be simple to find this thing. Then as if destiny brought the two together, the strange object rolled right down to Yamcha's feet.

Yamcha picked up the strange, somewhat hexagonal object, it was a sort of teal-blue in color. He laughed, as if he had just triumphed over a powerful foe. Little did he know that the tables would soon be turned.

"Hahahah, you must be the impactor, the strange object. I knew I'd find you. I can't believe you're the thing I was so worried about finding. Your just a little suit-case looking thing! Say, how do I get you open?" said Yamcha, as if he were conversing with the strange machinery.

He scanned the object over, he couldn't find any real place to open it, except there was a silver switch right in the center of the blue item. He pressed it. The switch lit up a bright, vibrant, neon, fluorescent blue.

"Uh-oh. I think I turned it on!!!!!" shouted Yamcha, staring at the light as it got brighter. His eyes bugged out.

The object continued flashing bright blue, it then unwrapped itself, transformed, it spread out like a tentacle-like web, it grabbed Yamcha's face first, wrapping itself around him completely and slowly working it's pink, slimy, tentacle appendages downward, covering his entire body from his head to his toes. Yamcha grabbed at his face, trying to rip the strange thing that was stuck to him off. He screamed, the thing hurt, it's tendrils were digging under Yamcha's skin, wires exploded from the tentacles and began to merge with Yamcha's veins and arteries, the pain was extraordinary, the worst he had ever felt. This thing was fusing with Yamcha, whether he liked it or not. It was a symbiotic creature for sure, attaching itself solely to Yamcha. He didn't know if this thing was trying to kill him, fuse with him, take his power, or grant him power. He just knew it was damn painful. Yamcha tried to rip the strange thing that covered him off...it was sturdy, resistance was more than futile. Suddenly, the thing began to take shape, it gained color, texture, formation. It wasn't just tentacle like pink gel covering him anymore, it was a suit. A suit of armor or something, Yamcha was down on his knees, from the intense amounts of pain he endured from the suit.

"What the hell is this? A suit?! I can't see, I can't breathe!!! WHAT'S GOING ON!!!" screamed Yamcha from the inside of his helmet, which at this point he couldn't speak out of, so no sound came out.

Finally, two small speaker-like air holes popped upward and released the pressurized air in the helmet, making it much more fitting and making it possible to breathe and talk again.

Yamcha still couldn't stand or see, however he now had control and was at least partially able to calm himself down, retaining a little bit of his composure. This thing was an armor, it turned into an incredible, strange, blue suit of armor. Yamcha sort of liked the feel of it, the inside was comfortable, smooth, but he could feel the strength, the density, the roughness of this strange new armor that covered him, he could feel. From the outside, it was very alien-robot looking.

Though strange, Yamcha felt an odd sense of confidence and stability in this suit. Finally, the eyes of the strange suit that wrapped around him lit up red, allowing him vision, he could see out of the helmet. His surroundings were the same, nothing had changed, other than the fact that he was seeing from inside a suit. Yamcha stumbled around a bit, he wasn't used to walking with the suit on. He meandered for a little while, until he reached a beautiful, clear, blue pond, it was so clear that you could see your reflection. Yamcha looked down at the pond, only to be surprised by what was looking back at him. His now armored reflection.

"Is that me?! Wow, this thing is crazy lookin'!!!" shouted Yamcha as he stared back at the blue armor-clad creature that looked back at him.

Suddenly, something took Yamcha by surprise, what was it? A man in a helmet and military armor with a large blaster rifle stood in front of Yamcha. "Hand over the Guyver unit or you will be persecuted and taken into custody by law enforcers."

Guyver unit? Was he talking about the suit that Yamcha was wearing? Yamcha was confused, but replied, "I wish I could take this thing off but it seems to be pretty attached to me. Haha."

The army official became frustrated and said, "You stupid fool!! That's no toy you can just play with!!! That is the Guyver, a genetically enhanced, man-made sentient organic being. A bio-booster armor. It bonds with a host and grants them abilities and weapons. It's for military purposes only, it's a bio-weapon!!! HAND IT OVER! LAST CHANCE."

So thats what it was. This thing was a manufactured bio-weapon created for military use and the technology was comparable to Avalonian technology. Perhaps Avalon was reaching out to Earth, to train more people for the infamous execution force. Why though, that couldn't be it. Yamcha was happy to at least know what this thing was now.

Yamcha couldn't reply because the suit wouldn't allow him, it was in defense mode, it could sense that Yamcha was about to be attacked by the military man. The medallion in the upper center forehead of the helmet lit up blue, the military man shot the blaster rifle straight at Yamcha's head. The Guyver flickered, and moved Yamcha to the left, thus making the blast miss, The Guyver threw it's right hand up, grabbed the rifle, crushing it.

"Wha....WOAH...DONT HURT ME!!! KEEP THE SUIT, IT'S YOURS!!!!" shouted the military man as he watched his weapon be crushed into pieces like it was nothing, the man quickly took off running.

The Guyver was protecting Yamcha. They were truly one now. Then, suddenly something happened. The suit began to recede and it unwrapped itself from Yamcha, it retreated within Yamcha, leaving two circular tattoo-like dots on Yamcha's back. They were fused. Guyver was one Yamcha and Yamcha was one with Guyver. They were a conglomerate, fused being. However, what happened? How would he reactivate the Guyver suit to use it? What was this all about? One use and it all ready flee's back into Yamcha's body? Sounds sketchy.

This was strange...but Yamcha now had something new, a new part of him, a passenger, whether this thing was evil, or good, it was his now. Many a foe would stand in his way, some will challenge him, others will tremble under his bio-boosted might. Only time could tell, but for now, the Guyver lyes dormant awaiting it's time to be completely unleashed, its requirements are unknown but there is no question, Yamcha will use the Guyver again one day, and that day will be the day that he becomes...a Super Hero.

It's Been A Long Time, Working On Some New Stuff by Kerunou, journal
